Inspired by the counsel Russell M. Nelson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, gave to teens to stand out and be a light, Latter-day Teen was created to help young men and young women connect in an intentional way; to talk about how they are shining and to give them more tools to live an intentional Christian life every day.
In June 2018 Russell M. Nelson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, told the youth of the world that they should stand out, be different, and be a light. He counseled, “The Lord needs you to look like, sound like, act like, and dress like a disciple of Jesus Christ.”
Inspired by these words, Latter-day Teen was created by two mothers who see strength in youth and power in connecting them. It is our hope to feature teens who are doing good and provide readers with additional tools to live a Christ-centered life.
Latter-day Teen is designed for youth ages 11 to 18, but is inspirational for anyone. Beautifully designed and filled with content based on faithful living, communication, and preparation for the future, the magazine makes a perfect addition to daily personal study and is a meaningful gift for children or grandchildren.
